Amanjyot continues in Southern India Junior golf lead

Coimbatore, June 7 (UNI) Jaipur's Amanjyot Singh brought in a second round card of level par 72 to open up a seven stroke lead in category 'A' of the Southern India Junior/Sub Junior Golf Championship here today.

The leader tallies three-over 147 with two rounds to go. Rahul Bakshi was placed second at a tally of 154, while Abhinav Lohan occupied the third place at 155.

Category 'B' witnessed Chikka Rangappa lead the field at a tally of 160, while golfing prodigy Viraat Badhwar was tied for the lead with Ashbeer Singh and Syed Saqib Ahmed at 160 in category 'C'.

In the junior most category 'D', (playing its first round of the tournament), Akash Srinivasan assumed the lead at 16-over 88.
