Yahoo! India launches 'My Web'

New Delhi, June 6 (UNI) Yahoo! India, a popular internet guide, today launched its 'personal and social search engine' 'My Web 2.0' in India.

The Yahoo users in the country can selectively share their personalised 'My Web' with friends and others with common interest, an official note said.

Speaking about the new offerings, Yahoo! India Managing Director George Zacharias said, ''My Web helps users tap into the power of comunities, using tagging and sharing to improve their serach experience.'' ''My Web 2.0 combines social search with the power of web search to provide the user with more relevant results,'' he claimed.

The release of 'My Web 2.0' enables users to create their own personal online archive by saving their favourite pages, search results and search history. Users can also save organise and find pages in a superior manner to browser bookmarks, as the pages can be tagged and organised.
