Woman delivers boy in suburban train

Chennai, June 6 (UNI) A woman travelling in the suburban EMU train gave birth to a boy here last night.

Government Railway Police sources told UNI today that the woman was travelling in the vendor's coach of the EMU train from Tiruvallur to Chennai.

As the train reached Chennai Central, the woman developed labour pain and delivered the boy.

She was later shifted to a hospital for treatment. The condition of mother and the new born were stated to be satisfactory.
