Two children drowned

Machilipatnam, June 6 (UNI) Two children were drowned in Kattileru Rivulet near Gampalagude village in Krishna district today.

Reports reaching here said the deceased were a nine-year-old boy and his eight year-old sister. Both belonged to a Dalit family at Gampalagudem outskirts. They fell into the rivulet when they went to wash their clothes.

The bodies were recovered, officials sources said.
