WANGEN, Germany, June 6 (Reuters) Togo's soccer officials have reached an agreement with their players in a dispute over World Cup pay that stops short of the team's initial demands, a spokesman for the team said today.

''We have reached an agreement. The players will get their money,'' Messan Attolou told Reuters but added that the deal did not include 155,000 euros (200,200 dollars) each that the players had demanded to play in the tournament at all.

Attolou declined to comment further and said exact details were due tomorrow.

Players had asked for 155,000 euros each to play plus an additional 30,000 euros each per win and 15,000 euros per draw.

Togo are rated outsiders in their World Cup debut, having failed to score a single goal at the African Nations Cup finals this year.

Togo are due to play a local side later today before their first World Cup match against South Korea on June 13. Their other Group G opponents are Switzerland and France.
