Thundershowers likely in North East India

Pune, June 6 (UNI) Heavy rains are likely to occur at most places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand, coastal Karnataka and Kerala.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, south Konkan and Goa, interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep.

They also occur at a few places in Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, north Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and at isolated places in Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat and Marathwada.

The southwest monsoon has further advanced into most parts of north interior Karnataka, parts of Telangana, entire coastal Andhra Pradesh, some parts of Chhattisgarh, most parts of Orissa, entire northwest Bay, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand and Bihar.

The southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa and Jharkhand.

Heavy rains had occurred at most places in West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa and at many places in Jharkhand.

Very light rains had occurred at isolated places in Bihar and Vidarbha.

Rain or thundershowers had occurred at most places in coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at many places in Assam, Meghalaya, Telangana, north interior Karnataka, at a few places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

They had also occurred at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, east Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra and Lakshadweep.
