TDP leader joins Congress

Madanapalli, June 06 (UNI) A TDP ZPTC member from Mulakalachervu in Chittoor district joined the Congress here today.

The ZPTC member Gowari Sankar Reddy, who was introduced by Thamalapalli constituency MLA Kalicharla Prabhakar Reddy joined the Congress in the presence of Chief Minister Y S Rajasekara Reddy at a public meeting at Madanapalli in Chittoor District.

Later addressing the press, Mr Sankar Reddy said he was joining the Congress as the Government was implementing various irrigation and welfare schemes for the people in the state.
