Striker Koller joins Monaco

PARIS, June 5 (Reuters) Czech Republic striker Jan Koller has joined AS Monaco from Borussia Dortmund on a two-year contract, the Ligue 1 club said today.

The transfer does not involve a fee since Koller's contract with the German club has ended.

The 2.01 metre tall striker, 33, is the Czech Republic's all-time top scorer having netted 40 goals in 66 matches.

He has recovered from a knee injury in time to spearhead their World Cup campaign, which kicks off against the U.S. on June 12. They also play Italy and Ghana in Group E.
