Smack peddler arrested in Hanumangarh
Sriganganagar, June 6 (UNI) A clothes vendor was arrested with a huge cache of smack in Ganganagar district.
The police said the peddler, Ramlal, indulged in smack smuggling in the guise of a clothes vendor. He was arrested with about 440 gm smack, hidden in his double soled shoes.
Deputy Police Superintendent Satyapal Middha today said that Ramlal,45, was nabbed at the checkpost when he was trying to enter Punjab.
He used to sell smack in villages like Abohar and, Fazilka. The police said Ramlal used to buy smack from Madhya Pradesh's Shyamgarh and sold it in Punjab.
Mr Middha said Ram Lal had entered the smack trade six months ago.
He had made six to seven trips Madhya Pradesh. His cell phone has also been seized which could provide information about his contacts in MP and Punjab.
