Srinagar, June 6 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Governor Lt Gen (Retd) S K Sinha visited the historic temple of Goddess Ragnya Devi at Tulamulla, about 30 km from here, and prayed for peace and tranquility in the strife-torn state.
Thousands of devotees, including a sizable number from Jammu, converged at the temple to participate in the special prayers at the annual festival on Zeshtha Ashtami yesterday.

The annual fair witnessed intense emotional scenes as those separated years ago met again to share their feelings.
Gen Sinha was informed that the Khir Bhawani Complex, comprising community centre, yaghya shalla and one room tenements, was nearing completion.
The project costs Rs 17.50 crore out of which Rs 9.95 crore was spent up till May this year.
