Sify to webcast French Open, Wimbledon exclusively

New Delhi, June 6 (UNI) SifyMax, India's first broadband portal has joined hands with TWI/IMG as its exclusive partner in the country for showing video highlights of the ongoing French Open and Wimbledon (June 26-July 6) tennis tournaments.

As a result of this exclusive tie-up, announced today, the French Open-2006 section and the Wimbledon 2006 special on www.sifymax.in will offer comprehensive coverage replete with videos of individual match highlights, interviews with star players, daily round-ups and the behind-the-scenes action with live audio commentary.

A live score-card and golden moments of the French Open and Wimbledon tournaments, last year, will also be available on SifyMax, the broadband portal from leading internet service provider and enterprise Sify Ltd.

Sify's senior Vice-President Surya Mantha said, ''Following the immense success of last year's Wimbledon coverage on SifyMax, we are delighted to be associated with TWI/IMG again to bring the excitement of both the French Open and Wimbledon 2006 to sports lovers in India.''
