Bangalore, Jun 6 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours today.

Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka; many places over North Interior Karnataka and at a few places over South Interior Karnataka.

Chief rainfall amounts (cm); Siddapura, B.Bagewadi 6 each, Gerusoppa, Bijapur 5 each, Honavar, Sedam 4 each, Kollur, Siddapura, Joida, Yellapura, Haunsbhavi, Hanumasagar, Bhagamandala, Thirthahalli, Hadagalli, Siruguppa 3 each.

Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at most places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to nearly heavy rain likely to occur at most places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka.

Light to moderate rain likely to occur at many places over ghat areas of South Interior Karnataka and at a few places over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka and remaining districts of South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore: Generally cloudy. A spell of light rain likely.
