Sheila Dikshit release book on national heroes

New Delhi, June 6 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit released four books on national heroes published by National Book Trust India here today.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister paid tribute to great Indian leaders, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Shaheed Bhagat Singh. She commended the Trust for its performance over the years.

Three Punjabi books and one in Hindi -- 'Shaheed-A-Azam Bhagat Singh Kavya', 'Mahatma Gandhi Atay Jahawarlal Nehru Kavya Shradhanjali', 'Amar Shaheed Sardar Bhagat Singh' and 'Fansi Lahore Ki' -- were released.

On this occasion a ''Kavi darbar'' of eminent Hindi and Punjabi poets was also held.
