Sakata India to invest 60 cr in new manufacturing unit

New Delhi, June 6 (UNI) Sakata Inx (India) Ltd, subsidiary of the premium ink manufacturer Sakata Inx Corporation, Japan, today announced its plans to set up a manufacturing plant in India at an ivestment of Rs 60 crore.

The company has also acquired 20 acres of land in Panoli, Gujarat for the same purpose. The plant which will be the company's largest unit in the country, is expected to be operational by 2009 and will be built in two phases.

The company will invest Rs 30 crore in the first phase, which will be completed by 2007, and the remaining will be done in the second phase.
