Rajnath non-committal on Rahul's induction into BJP
Bhubaneswar, June 6: BJP President Rajnath Singh today remained non-committal on late BJP leader Promod Mahajan's son Rahul's entry into the party fold.
Mr Singh told newsmen here that Rahul was never a member of the party but had expressed the desire to be one.
When asked whether he would be inducted into the partyfold or that the door was closed forever to him, the BJP president twice quipped ''it is not audible to me''.
Mr Singh also declined to give his reaction on the arrest of Rahul Mahajan under the NDPS Act for buying, possessing and consuming drugs, stating that he has nothing to say in this regard.
The police, he said, had been investigating into the matter.
''Let them do their job, he added.''
