NCDEX trading volume low at Rs 4,691 cr

Mumbai, June 5 (UNI) In all 569 member (3,212 users) of National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) participated in the trading up to 1700 hrs today and volumes traded were lower Rs 4,691 crore against Rs 5,538 crore on previous day (one-way).

There were 1,02,250 (1,22,080) trades put through by them. Active trades were in guarseed, chana, Chilli,wheat, gold, silver and urad, according to an NCDEX release.

On June 5, about 604 (545) members had participated in trading and had put through 1,26,520 (83,280) trades. The volume for the whole day trading till 2330 hrs was around Rs 5,862 crore (Rs 3,865 crore) (one-way). Active trades were in guarseed, chana, gold, silver, wheat and refined soy oil, the release added.
