Naidu leads demo against petrol, diesel price hike

Visakhapatnam, Jun 6 (UNI) The opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today launched an agaition against hike in the price of diesel and petrol price and demanded roll back.

TDP President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu recalled that after the Congress led UPA government came to power at the Centre, it increased the price twice in the last two years.

The UPA goverenment had promised a subsidy of Rs 100 on each LPG refill. The promise was not fulfilled, he said.

Mr Naidu led a protest agitation at Srikakulam also.
