Monsoon advances into Bay of Bengal and coastal Andhra

Visakhapatnam, June 6 (UNI) The Southwest monsoon advanced today into parts of Bay of Bengal and coastal Andhra Pradesh.

According to a special bulletin issued by Cyclone Warning Centre here, the northern limit moved past through Porbandhar, Rajkot, Baroda, Sholapur, Hyderabad, Jagadalpur, Ragerha, Dettmgeinje and Rapol.

Light to moderate rains are likely over coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hrs.
