Japan team visits Kerala for LNG project
Kochi, Jun 6 (UNI) A high-level team, representating a consortium of four companies, today held on-site studies and discussions in connection with the transportation of LNG for the upcoming Rs 2000 crore Petronet LNG Project at Puthuvyppin, near here.
The team, in the run-up to submit the bid for the transportation of gas, carried out detailed inspections and held talks with the officials of the Petronet LNG and the Cochin Port Trust.
Panel members Masashi Furukaw, Mitsushia Tanimotto, Kzhutoshi Sakamoto and Koichi Tsuru from Japan and Captain S Majumdar of the Shipping Corporation of India held the discussions.
The consortium, which is keen to submit the bids, included Mitsui OSK Line, NYK Logistics, Megha Carriers and Shipping Corporation of India.
