IMFL worth Rs 30,000 seized

Rajkot, June 6: Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth about Rs 30,000 was seized by the Prohibition Department squad from a van near Gondal, about 40 kms from here late on Saturday.

Acting on a tip-off, the squad mounted surveillance on Gondal highway and intercepted a van at Moviya near Gondal. The search of the vehicle yielded 84 bottles of IMFL valued at about Rs 30,000.

The police has arrested two persons in this connection while a third person fled the scene, police said.
