Hearing in IOC official Manjunath's murder case continues
Lakhimpur Kheri, June 6 (UNI) The hearing in the sensational murder case of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) marketing officer S Manjunath continued for the second day in the district court today.
The prosecution produced three more witnesses -- Dhanraj Sahni, Anurag Agrawal and Ashok Kumar Agrawal -- in the case, whose statements were recorded.
While, Dhanraj deposed that Manjunath was his tenant, the two other witnesses claimed the slain IOC officer was sitting at Agrawal Brothers Petrol Pump till 2100 hrs on the day of the incident.
Anurag and Ashok are owner and manager of the petrol outlet.
Yesterday, the statement of two witnesses were recorded.
Supreme Court (SC) lawyer Kamini Jaiswal represented IOC in the case and the hearing would continue tomorrow.
Manjunath was allegedly shot dead by hired criminals on November 19 last year, when he objected to malpractices at a petrol outlet in Lakhimpur.
