DPI Demands OBC reservation

Pondicherry, June 6 (UNI) Volunteers of the Dalit Panthers of India (DPI) led by it's leader Thol Thirumavalavan today held a demonstration in front of JIPMER hospital here in support of the 27 per cent reservation for the OBCs in institutions of higher education.

They raised slogans and urged the Centre to implement the reservation forthwith.

Kattumannarkoil legislator Mr Ravikumar also participated in the agitation.
