CBI arrests Railway employee in question paper leak case

New Delhi, June 6 (UNI) The CBI today arrested an employee of the Northern Railway on charges of leaking the question paper of the departmental examination.

The CBI spokesman said the agency sleuths arrested Ashok Kumar Yadav, an employee of the Northern Railway, for allegedly procuring the questions and also cheating at the examination held to select candidates for Group C posts.

The departmental examination to promote candidates from Group D to Group C was held at Government Senior Secondary School, Mata Sundri Road in the Capital on June 3.

Yadav was held during the examination while copying from the papers in which he had written the answers in the same sequence as that of the questions.

He had allegedly admitted that he had procured the questions in advance.

On the complaint of the Executive Director (Vigilance) of Railway Board, a case was registered against Yadav.

A Delhi Court had remanded Yadav in CBI custody till June 7 for further interrogation.
