Burglars make away with cash, jewellery from lawyer's house

Mumbai, June 6 (UNI) Cash and jewellery worth Rs 2.9 lakh was stolen from the house of noted CBI advocate Raja Thackre by unidentified persons at Vidhyavihar here when he was out of Mumbai on vacation.

Mr Thackre and his family had left Mumbai on May 13 and arrived here only this morning. Upon their arrival, they found that cash totalling Rs 30,000 and jewellery worth Rs 2.6 lakh were missing from the cupboard.
