ASI to sponsor 5 students to International Astronautical Cong

Bangalore, June 6 (UNI) The Astronautical Society of India (ASI), with sponsorship from the Indian Space Research Organisation, proposes to send five students to the International Astronautical Congress (IAC-2006), to be held at Valencia in Spain from October two to six.

The selection would be made from among students completing their engineering course or post graduation course in science (MSc) in 2007 and below 23 years of age. The selection would be based on academic performance and competitive evaluation, according to a release from ASI Executive Secretary R K Rajangam here yesterday.
