All Rajasthan villages to have public phones by Nov 2007
Jaipur, June 6 (UNI) All villages of Rajasthan will have public telephones by November, 2007.
About 12,386 villages have been identified, which don't have public telephones. About 5,913 villages have already been provided with the facility of public telephones this year by March 31.
The public telephone facility would enable villagers to make calls at cheaper rates.
This project is under central government's programme to develop the telecommunication system in villages and towns.
According to the central government programme, 66,822 villages would be provided with public telephones by November,2007 UNI RRT SK VP0417
