Gunfight erupts in JK; militants take refuge in house

Srinagar, June 4: A gunfight between the militants and the security forces erupted at Palhalan near pattan in north Kashmir's Baramulla district today, official sources said.

They said the militants have taken refuge in a house and were firing from there.

The sources said the security forces have cordoned off the house and the area. They were returning the fire.

However, it was not immediately known how many militants were holed up inside the house.
