TRS to discuss alliance with Congress on June 6

Hyderabad, June 3 (UNI) Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leader and Union Minister of State for Rural Development A Narendra today said his party would hold talks with the Congress on an electoral alliance on June six for the forthcoming local body elections.

In a brief chat with newspersons after meeting Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Mr Narendra clarified that he had not discussed electoral alliance with the Chief Minister.

He said he only discussed the railway line to Medak, (his constituency) with the Chief Minister.

Mr Narendra also dismissed newspaper reports that talks were on to merge the TRS with the Congress.
