Sam elected as CEM of KAAC

Diphu, Jun 03: Congress backed candidate Sam Ranghang has been elected unopposed as the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) today.

The election was held at a special session of the KAAC Secretariat Hall here.

Earlier Sam was elected as Congress nominee at the district congress parliamentary meeting on June 1.
