Ravindra Jain to be given Lata Mangeshkar Award on June 6

Mumbai, June 3 (UNI) The Lata Mangeshkar award for the year 2003 will be conferred on music composer Ravindra Jain on June 6.

The award will be given away by Deputy Chief Minister R R Patil at the Ravindra Natya Mandir in Central Mumbai.

A musical programme 'Ravindra Jain Sangeet Sandhya' will be held during the award ceremony.

The presentation ceremony got delayed because of election model code of conduct and subsequent natural calamities after the award was announced, an official release here said.
