Hyderabad, June 3 (UNI) Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad (MCH) Commissioner Sanjay Jaju today announced that the MCH would introduce 'travel advisory concept '' through FM Channels to disseminate informations on vehicle traffic in the city.

Talking to newspersons here, Mr Jaju said the concept which was being adopted by the metro cities was very useful to the people during the monsoon.

The MCH had discussed the issue with the city traffic police and the concept would be introduced through the famous FM radio channels.

He said 14 Emergency Responsive Teams (ERTs) were constituted in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad to tackle the heavy rainfall situation at the inundated locations to prevent the entry of rain water into sewer manholes.

Mr Jaju said caution boards would be displayed at the deep sewer lines and grills installed at manholes to prevent untoward incidents during heavy rains.

Hyderabad Metro Water Works and Sewerage Board Managing Director Jawahar Reddy said about 1.61 lakh manholes and 175 water stagnation points had been identified in the city and the department had taken all pre-cautions to resist the damage caused by the heavy down pour from the upland areas in the city.
