Majlis demands dismissal of police commissioner

Hyderabad, Jun 3 (UNI) All India Majlis Ittehadul-e-Muslimeen (AIMIM) today demanded the dismissal of the city police commissioner in the wake of two deaths when the police allegedly assaulted the duo for riding without helmet recently.

The AIMIM today staged a dharna at the Indira Park, in protest against the police attrocities. Police had tightened security arrangements to avert any untoward incident.

AIMIM leaders said no amount of ex gratia to the bereaved families would offset the loss of Mosin and Shariff.
