Landslide victory for Congress in muni polls

Imphal, Jun 03 (UNI) The Congress party emerged victorious in the Imphal Municipal Council (IMC) elections held on May 31.

Congress won 16 seats, National Congress Party won four seats, RJD and Manipur peoples' party got one seat each. Five independents also won.

The results of all the 27 wards are now available after counting was concluded yesterday.
