Four arrested for poaching sambhar in Haryana forests
Yamunanagar, Jun 3 (UNI) The guards of Kalesar forest reserves in Yamunanagar district of Haryana today arrested four hunters for killing a sambhar.
They were identified as Yunis Khan, Imran Khan, Islam Khan and Nazim, all from Bombaypur village in the Jagadhri sub-division.
Two of their accomplices fled the scene when the guards nabbed them with the body parts of the dead sambhar early this morning.
The four accused, arrested under the Wildlife Protection Act, were today produced in a court here and were sent to judicial custody till June five.
The hunt for the two absconding accused was on, the police here said.
