Death toll from Basra car bomb 15 -police
BASRA, Iraq, June 3 (Reuters) At least 15 people were killed and 30 wounded today after a car bomb exploded in Iraq's southern city of Basra, police said.
The bombing came three days after Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki announced a state of emergency to crack down on gangs and feuding Shi'ite factions threatening oil exports.
