WB cloth merchant looted on train
Mirzapur (UP), June 3: Armed criminals looted Rs two lakh in cash and jewellery worth over Rs one lakh from a cloth merchant of west Bengal on board Uday Abha Toofan express train near Jeonathpur railway station in the district late last night.
According to police, the miscreants equipped with firearms took away the cash and nine tola of gold jewellery from Burdwan based cloth merchant Haider.
A case has been lodged in the GRP police at the Mirzapur railway station .
