All injured Bengal tourists in Kashmir arrive in city
Kolkata, June 3 (UNI) Five West Bengal tourists, who were among those injured in the grenadas attacks by terrorists on their bus in Srinagar on Wednesday, returned to the city tonight.
Among them were Sumana Dutta, whose legs were seriously injured.
Her father Biplab Dutta and mother R Dutta were also flown in by an Indian flight from Srinagar via Delhi. All three were rushed to Apollo hospital in ambulances.
Two others, Sisir Chakraborty and his wife Mrinmoyee who were seriously injured were taken to SSKM hospital.
Yesterday, Sumana's father-in-law Swaraj Dutta's body was flown in here from Srinagar. Dutta, who was injured in the attacks, succumbed to his injuries yesterday.
Besides those, another 20 tourists, including twelve injured, were flown in here last night. All the injured were admitted to different hospitals in the city.
