Srinagar, Jun 2 (UNI) Burqa-clad separatist women with placards and banners in their hands marched on Srinagar roads to protest what they called ''inordinate delay'' in investigations into the sex racket by the CBI and demanded disclosure of names of high-profile people allegedly involved in the scandal that has rocked Kashmir.

The protest march was taken out by activists of the Dukhataran-e- Millat (Daughters of Faith) gathered at the Maulana Azad Road at 1200 hrs, and then proceeded to the Jammu and Kashmir High Court, which is hearing the case today.

The march, led by Dukhataran-e- Millat Chief Asiya Andrabi, culminated at the Regal Chowk here at 1445 hrs.

The activists, numbering about 30-40, demanded disclosure of names of high-profile people allegedly involved in the sex racket.

They also accused the CBI of ''inordinate delay'' in the investigations into the scandal.

Some of the placards also carried threats for the CBI.

''Shame for CBI for shielding sexploiters. Leave our land or be ready for dire consequences...Chastity is so precious and priceless that it cannot be sold or sacrificed....O conscious Kashmiris come forward to eradicate the social evils from society...Why the names of big guns have been hushed up? Expose them all and arrest them...Muslim sisters are calling you Subhan Hajam'' read the placards both in English and Urdu.
