Uma Bharati visits place near RSS HQ where militants killed
Nagpur, June 2 (UNI) Bharatiya Janshakti Party (BJP) President Uma Bharti today visited the place near the headquarters of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at Mahal locality here, where the three terrorists were killed in an encounter with the police.
Ms Bharti, who was in Vidarbha with her Bharat Jodo Yatra from Rameshwardham to Kedarnathdham, suddenly made her appearance in the vicinity of the RSS headquarters and inspected the site where the encounter between the police and militants took place yesterday, thereby foiling their bid to blow up the RSS HQ building.
There, she talked to some of the residents and returned to Wardha in Vidarbha by road. She has not visited the RSS Headquarters and met any RSS functionaries.
Her yatra will reach Wardha on June nine, where a public felicitation will be accorded to her in a function next day at Geetra Mandir.
