Trisha unveils Fanta's twin pack, presents gold coin

Chennai, June 2 (UNI) Popular Kollywood and Tollywood actress Trisha today unveiled the new twin pack, save Rs six offer, of the soft drink Fanta, at a glittering function here today.

The function, got up by soft drinks major Coca Cola India and Prince Jewellery, was to present Rs 50,000 worth of Gold coin to ''Fanta Manikku Mani Diamond Kalakkal'' slogan contest winner Mr Selvam from Madurai.

The contest was jointly launched by Coca Cola and Prince Jewellery on May 12. The six-week long contest would continue till June 21.

Coca Cola Area Operations Director Ashok Namboodri told reporters here that the twin pack would be made available at all select outlets in Tamil Nadu, where Fanta is the flagship brand for the company.

''The twin pack offer on 1.5 litres bottles will be extended to all other brands of Coca Cola like Sprite and Coke'', he added.

Under the unique promotion scheme, customers get a chance to win a diamond every hour for eight hours, everyday during the stipulated period.

Apart from the Diamonds, Fanta patrons also get to win Gold every two weeks as a mega prize and Selvam emerged the first winner.

Fanta and Prince Jewellery would present 345 diamonds and gold worth Rs 1,50,000 to its customers under the scheme.

For Selvam, it turned out to be second time lucky, as he had won a similar contest last year and was presented with a mobile phone.

Speaking on the occaison, Trisha said she was happy to be associated with Fanta as its Brand Ambassador and presented the Gold coin to Selvam and also diamonds to the winners.
