Three killed in bomb explosion in Bihar
Gaya, June 2 (UNI) Three people were killed and one injured when a bomb exploded accidentally in Bihar's Gaya district last night.
Deputy Inspector General of Police (Magadh range), Arvind Pandey, today said that one Karu Yadav, a 'Mukhiya' candidate of Sherghati block had hired some 'criminals' to manufacture bombs to be used for disrupting the polling during the 7th phase of Panchayat elections being held in the day.
They were killed when a bomb accidently exploded while it was being made, he added. The incident occured at Mahdipur village under Sherghati police station in the district.
Mr Pandey said Munna who was injured in the incident, had provided explosives for manufacturing bombs.
The deceased have been identified as Dinesh Yadav, Bare Babu and Karu Yadav, he added.
