Security beefed up at Ram Janmabhoomi complex
Ayodhya, June 2 (UNI) Security has been beefed up at the sensitive Ram Janmabhoomi complex here following the abortive attack on the RSS headquarters in Nagpur yesterday.
Police superintendent (City) B D Shukla said here today that security arrangements at other prominent temples, the VHP office, Karsewak Puram, Ramsewak Puram and Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas had also been tightened.
All vehicles entering Ayodhya were being checked and additional force deployed at vital points.
Meanwhile, officiating district magistrate Narendra Singh Patel told UNI that intelligence sleuths had been pressed into service to keep vigil in the temple town.
