Owner of JJ Enterprise arrested after his ABA plea rejected
Mumbai, June 2 (UNI) Social Service Branch of the Mumbai Police arrested a recruiting agent outside the court premises after his anticipatory bail plea was rejected by a sessions court here today.
Additional sessions judge A D Khilari rejected the anticipatory bail plea of Shakeel Ahmed Abdul Adhikari (43) on the grounds that his custodial interrogation is required to unearth the international racket working behind in the women trafficking.
The Prosecution said Shakeel, the owner of the J J enterprise had got cleared the emigration clearance requirement of two women and sent them to Uganda.
Two woman--Khan Hasina Irshad and Minu Chakravory who joined a Bar run by one Ravindra Pal Singh, were arrested in a raid conducted on April 22 this year.
Ambasador at Kampala Uganda, informed the Ministry of external affairs on April 24 that Indian women were being exploited here.
The two women while questioning disclosed that one Ravi singh alias Ravindra Singh had taken them to a night club at Uganda called Kampala night spot and after that the institution had been raided by Ugandan authorities.
The two women had been taken through Delhi to Uganda on January five this year and that they were being sent back to the country.
