MP medicos withdraw strike
Bhopal, Jun 2 (UNI) The junior doctors in Madhya Pradesh today resumed duty after ending their strike against OBC reservation in higher education institutions.
The Bhopal bandh, called for tomorrow, was also cancelled in view of the Supreme Court directive to end the strike, Madhya Pradesh Junior Doctors Association President Manish Rawat said.
To oppose the reservation in higher education institutions, the junior doctors will discharge their duty wearing black badges, Mr Rawat said.
Junior doctors and medical students reported for duty at the state capital's Hamidia hospital, its Superintendent Dr Sharad Tiwari and Dean Nirbhay Shrivastava said.
