Mittal says gave business plan to Arcelor

LUXEMBOURG, June 2 (Reuters) Mittal Steel, the world's largest steel maker, said it had given its business plan to rival Arcelor which has previously said it would not negotiate a takeover by its unwanted suitor without the document.

''They have now the business plan at their disposal,'' Mittal Steel Chief Executive for Europe Roeland Baan told Reuters on Friday.

Arcelor Chairman Joseph Kinsch has said he needed Mittal Steel's business plan in order to estimate the value of Mittal's shares which are being offered in the deal.
