Mine accident and lightning kill seven people in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Jun 2 (UNI) At least seven people three illegal miners, were killed and 15 injured in two separate accidents in Jharkhand today.

Police said three persons while digging coal illegally in an abandoned mine of Central Coalfield ltd in Argadda area of Hazaribagh district died on the spot when roofs of the mine collapsed on them.

In another incident, four persons died and 15 received burns when lightning struck them at Bachara Pipal area of Piparwar police station in the Chatra district.
