Labour strike at Sintex Industries' Kalol plant

Mumbai, June 2: Some workers at Sintex Industries's Kalol (NG) plastic plant in Gujarat today have gone on strike on the demand of additional benefits.

Informing the BSE in a release issued here, the company said its management is negotiating with the workers to sort out the matter amicably. The management believes that there is no major impact on the production and working of the Plastic division due to the strike.

It also informed that the other sections of the factory as well as other manufacturing locations are working normally.
