It was cocaine, suspects tell NDTV

New Delhi, June 2 (UNI) It was cocaine that Rahul Mahajan and Bibek Biman Moitra sniffed at former BJP General Secretary Pramod Mahajan's 7, Safdarjang Road residence last night, a TV channel quoted the three suspects on the run as saying.

According to NDTV, Moitra's three mysterious guests told the channel in an exclusive interview that Mahajan's Private Secretary paid Rs 15,000 to a drug dealer in South Delhi for the dope.

Moitra asked the three to bring the 'stuff' which they purchased for the duo from a dealer in Vasant Vihar, they told the channel.

The suspects were described as men in their 20s. They claimed that froth started coming out of Mr Moitra's mouth while Rahul went into deep sleep after taking the cocktail of drugs and champagne.

The three men were stated to have denied that they were drug suppliers. The channel claimed the three men were very scared of coming out in the open and because of the untoward turn of events.
