Indian lawyers' team on a roll in the Windies
New Delhi, Jun 2 (UNI) The Men in Blue may have surrendered the ODI series to the West Indies but an Indian lawyers' team is on a roll as they recorded their second straight win of the tour, beating the Barbados Bar Association by 93 runs.
Put into bat in the 25-overs-a-side match, the Indian Advocates Cricket Association (IACA) team put on 227 runs losing just three wickets as Girijashankar Mishra (88) and Hrishikesh Shende (80) shone with the bat.
Defending the score, the visitors bundled out the local side for 134 runs with Sri Suryanarayana and Hrishikesh Shende claiming three wickets each.
The next match is scheduled to be held on Sunday against Carlton Cricket club, IACA President Santhanakrishnan told UNI from Barbados.
