Kochi, Jun 2 (UNI) Kerala High Court today disallowed the plea to conduct CBI investigation into the 'SME Ragging and Sexual Harrasment Case.' However, Justice J M James directed the police to subject the accused and de facto complainant to polygraph and brain mapping tests.

After conducting scientific tests at forensic science laboratory at Bangalore, the report shall be filed before Judicial Fist Class Magistrate Court, Ettumanur within two months, he said.

The court was of the view that the conduct of these tests on the persons involved in the case would not have any ill effects.

Earlier, Judicial First Class Magistrate, Ettumanur rejected a petition filed by Ranjith Varghese, first accused in the case, seeking not to accept the charge sheet.

Direction was sought to subject the complainant and accused to undergo polygraph, brain mapping and nail analysis tests.

When the Magistrate rejected the plea, revision petition was filed before High Court by the accused seeking the same reliefs.
